My favourite cooking item
My unusual present is my apron. My favourite apron my dad got me when I was six. He was on a trip to Italy. I didn't expect that he will get me it, But I'm glad he did.
My apron is beige and it has a checked seal. It is made from unusual material. It has my name in the middle of it. Firstly it was a little bit big for me but I wore it anyway. It's handmade. Even if it's small to me noy, I still love it.
My favourite thing about it is that my dad got it for me. I was so happy, I couldn't wait to cook with him in it. I was really careful first time when I cooked in it because I was afraid that I'll mess it. I love that it has my name on it, I find it unique. I didn't believe that it has my name on it, because my dad loved to make jokes with me and I was too little so I didn't know Latin. because of the material it is a little bit uncomfy when you don't have sleeves but I didn't really care. When I was on a school trip to Venice I saw a little shop with the same one. I was so happy because it reminded me of funny cooking experiments with my dad.
I think this is a perfect present for someone who likes cooking. It's really unique and adorable because of the design and because it's hand made. My apron is something I'll keep because it's full of memories with my dad and me.

Five hundred years just for a souvenir
There are a lot of interesting and amazing souvenirs to give someone and when I saw this one I was thrilled. Last year when me and my family went to Postojnska jama in Slovenia we went to a souvenir shop that was surprisingly in the cave deep below the surface of the earth. When we entered it, it had lots of interesting souvenirs , but one caught my eye. It was a tiny stalactite not longer than five centimeters but still it was outstanding.
The stalactite cost around ten euros and was in a tiny glass box with a wooden lid that stalactite was glued on so you could take it out. It was unbelievable that there even were stalactites to buy because for just one centimeters you need hundred years for it to form.
I personally adored it and just had to buy it for my uncle. I also liked that out off all the stalactites that were there to buy all of them were totally different from each other. It was funny looking for the best one to give o my uncle.
There is really nothing i disliked about it except that it was a little bit expensive for such a little present but I can understand that because u need to wait five hundred years for it to grow.
I would recommend to buy someone this souvenir wholeheartedly. My uncle was amazed with the present so I would say to everybody, go and get it.
